DD Form 1391 Development
Rexroad APG has a great deal of and knowledge of the Army planning, programming, and budgeting process. This expertise ensures high quality documentation and reliable budget cost estimates. These projects involve the identification and description specific issues of standard facility design, required functional relationships, size and site location. In addition, analysis is conducted in this forum for protecting our most valuable asset, soldiers and family members, regarding anti-terrorism and force protection requirements. Facility requirements, in conjunction with preferred functional relationships, are recorded through stakeholder comments during the charrette process. Through this collaborative process, a plan is developed that contributes to the quality of life of the soldier and enhances sustainability for the Installation.
The goal of 1391 Charrette process is to increase the longevity facilities and infrastructure though smart development practices and contextual urban design elements. Our knowledge will ensure sustainable/environmental considerations have been evaluated in the early planning stages to comply with the NEPA and will result in a complete package including project resumes with a map of the Installation Real Property Planning Board (RPPB) approved site, including the RPPB site approval date, north arrow, graphic scale, project number and title, street address, roads and street names. The planning process used to develop the DD 1391’s approved plan aids in subsequent planning actions by establishing a framework for decision making that will comply with the goals and objectives of the master plan. Sustainable facilities will not only prove cost effective, they ensure required accommodations for soldiers and family members for the future.
