Requirements Analysis

When updating the TAB, planners calculate facility requirements based on an analysis of personnel, special space needs, unique space requirements, equipment and storage needs using the DA RPLANS database. Following this requirements analysis, the resulting the total net/gross areas are determined by comparing the requirements with the current situation. The Capital Investment Strategy relies on this data to look at closing the gap between requirements and assets with prioritized projects, department relocations, construction and renovation cost estimates, and schedules.
