Unit Capability Improvement Plans

The expense of the comprehensive planning process has left many CE and DPW planners looking for alternatives. Rexroad APG has developed a solution to this dilemma that we call the Unit Capabilities Improvement Plan (UCIP). This new tool provides development proposals for an entire unit or organization in order to correct identified functional inadequacies or to find the most efficient use for facilities. Issues are identified through a Unit Capability Analysis (UCA) and requirements generation. The UCIP then provides a realistic and implementable series of proposals for corrective action at a level of detail necessary for immediate action.

Putting the installation’s most impending issues to the forefront allows the team to target efforts on generating buy-in and a sense of urgency, which translates to faster funding and project actualization.

This planning tool is recommended for Community Planners and installations that do not require an extensive update to their BGP and have concerns that organizations are not operating as effectively as they should. The UCIP will clarify problems and identify recommendations for resolution. These proposals may involve renovations, infrastructure improvements, relocations and more as required providing the capability for maximum operational ability.
