REAL PROPERTY METROPLEX MASTER PLAN, TAMPA FLORIDA (Example Booklet)
The Real Property Metroplex Master Plan (RPMMP) is an objective, comprehensive, quantifiable and audible plan that covers a 50-mile radius centered on Tampa, FL. This plan not only provides recommendations for infrastructure improvements but does so in a way that supports the larger mission of the Regional Support Command (RSC) while maximizing recruitment potential and minimizing drive-time for soldiers. The plan further supports the practice of establishing Armed Forces Readiness Centers (AFRCs) and Reserve Centers as valued neighbors and trusted partners with surrounding communities by working directly with local and federal agencies in the placement and character of those facilities. The Metroplex Plan looks at a wide variety of information in the formation of proposals including existing facility and infrastructure assessments, environmental and security implications, recruiting cohorts, other service partnerships, socioeconomics, and mission objectives. In these economically strained times, maximum value of existing assets is promoted over new construction with a caveat to resiliency for the long-term future of the force.
